HISTORY OF AMO

AMO Foundation started as a dream and vision that God had laid and breathed in the hearts of our founder, Ariel & Paz Acuña.

“A small step of faith with complete obedience to the instructions of God brings much fruit.”

It was early 2000 in Philippines, that God placed the dream & vision of reaching the whole continent of Asia with Gospel of Christ in the hearts of Ariel & Paz Acuña, the Founders of AMO Foundation. Regardless of the realities of the lack of resources and the challenges of pioneering a mission movement in Asia, they hold on more to the vision of God and never wavered that God is faithful to complete what He has started in their hearts.

The heart is to transform the mission field of Asia into a mission force that will bring the Gospel of Christ to every unreached villages who had no or limited access to the Gospel until all Asia is reached. They lived Habbakuk 2:2 which says, “to write the vision and make it plain on tablets”. As a step of faith, they used all their family savings to print out brochures to mobilize the churches in the Philippines. There were discouragements along the way but they used it as fuel to keep on believing of what God has promised to them and what He will do in the nations.

In March 7, 2013 the dream and vision became a reality. Asian Mission Outreach Foundation was formally registered in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Asian Mission Outreach Foundation is a  non-profit, non-stock organization. We exist to transform the mission field into a mission force. Our battle cry is that ASIA WILL NO LONGER BE UNREACHED.”
