Ma. Corazon Santiago
She is known in the Christian Community as “The Five Dollar Missionary” she went all the way to Vietnam in the year 2002 to teach in a Bible School with only US$5 in her pocket and a plane ticket sponsored by the church she is associated with. Despite the discouragements she received from other people, she persevered without fear believing she has a big and abundant God who will neither forsake nor put her to shame.
Landing in an unfamiliar place with no means to provide for her own, was not at all an easy ride. But God is faithful, He did provide for her needs and He held her to get through that place, the whole time she was there. Her first ever experience of God’s abundant blessings – from there she came home with an even GREATER FAITH with God who has been her refuge and strength. Inside her wallet are the financial blessings that she received together with the $5 USD which was still intact, the silent witness to God’s faithfulness.
That experience played a crucial role for her to pursue her call to Mission. It encouraged her to believe more, to experience more, and to witness more of His mighty works to the Nations! It is by far her stepping-stone to where she is now in her Missionary Journey.
She is currently serving as a Mission Base Director in Siem Reap Cambodia. Together with her whole team, in whom she disciple, they are involved in the whole operation of AMO Foundation in Cambodia which focuses on evangelism, discipleship, community outreaches & development, Dream Scholars and Church Planting.
Her Vision is to be part of God’s agenda of ushering Cambodia and the world how to walk boldly into God’s calling and to be a catalyst for transformation that builds a generation who will fulfill the great commission. Her heart is to evangelize, equip, and mobilize the nation for the end-time harvest.
